Finally Unveiled! The Movie "Overlord: The Holy Kingdom" Reveals All!

The movie "Overlord: The Holy Kingdom" will grace the screens on September 20th. This new tale will be premiered in a special IMAX version starting September 13th. Along with this announcement, the latest trailer, theme song, character visuals, and ticket information have been released.
The "Overlord" series is based on the novel by Kugane Maruyama, depicting the adventures of the protagonist Ainz, who finds himself in another world. The film unfolds a new story not covered in the fourth season of the TV anime, set in the peaceful Roble Holy Kingdom. However, the kingdom faces a crisis of survival when an unexpected enemy appears. To change the fate of the Holy Kingdom, the Paladin Order led by Remedios Custodio embarks on a journey to seek help from the Sorcerer Kingdom of Ainz Ooal Gown.
Directed and scripted by Naoyuki Itou, the film features a stellar voice cast including Satoshi Hino, Yoshino Aoyama, Hitomi Nabatame, Saori Hayami, and Haruka Tomatsu breathing life into the characters. The theme song "WHEELER-DEALER" is performed by OxT and can be heard in the trailer available on YouTube.
The key visual of the movie contains the powerful message "The most evil justice descends." A special IMAX visual by so-bin has also been unveiled. New visuals for characters such as Ainz, Jaldabaoth, and Shizu Delta have been released, with voice performances by Masayuki Katou and Masami Seto.
From September 14th to 29th, the "Overlord Exhibition" will be held at Space 634 in Tokyo Solamachi, featuring new voice recordings, production materials, and photo spots.
Starting July 12th, the second round of movie tickets will go on sale, with an A4-sized clear file as a special bonus. It has been announced that refunds will not be available after the rating is confirmed, as there is a possibility that the film will be rated "R15+".
In a comment from OxT, the new theme song is said to retain the atmosphere of their previous songs while fitting the dark and cool vibe of the Holy Kingdom arc. They express a desire for the audience to discover what "the most evil justice" means. Personally, I'm also a big fan of Masayoshi Oishi, so I'm thrilled that OxT, the digital rock unit with Tom-H@ck, is performing the theme song, especially since I loved "K-On!" as well.
