Synopsis of the Second Cour
The first cour depicted the story of humanity, driven to the moon by aliens, and the android unit 'YoRHa' sent back to reclaim Earth. Characters like 2B and 9S battled against machine lifeforms, and the existence of the 'Red Girl' scheming behind the scenes was revealed. In the second cour, after the battles thus far, new mysteries that 2B and her companions face, as well as interactions with machine lifeforms possessing deeper human qualities, will be depicted. It's an unfolding story that no fan, and indeed no viewer, can take their eyes off.
